Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order quantity?

For retail shops we supply from a single carton. Wholesale and distributor pricing starts at 50 cartons per order, and bulk contracts are quoted per pallet. Tell us your outlet size and we will recommend the right starting order.

Where is RBL Sunflower Oil produced?

The oil is refined and bottled at an ISO-certified facility in Tanzania that we work with under a long-term supply agreement. We import it into Kenya and sell it under our own RBL brand.

Do you deliver across Kenya?

Yes. We deliver in Nairobi and its industrial belt directly from our Rangwe Road depot, and we work with transport partners for upcountry and coastal routes. Delivery terms are confirmed on each order.

What are your payment terms?

New accounts start on pro-forma payment before dispatch. Once a trading history is in place, we review credit terms of 14 to 30 days for distributors and institutional buyers.

Can I get exclusive distribution rights for my region?

We appoint a limited number of regional distributors so that territories are not saturated. Exclusivity is discussed after we review your coverage, storage capacity and monthly volume commitment.

What certifications does the product carry?

The refinery operates a certified ISO food safety management system. For Kenya, packaged edible oil requires KEBS standardisation and import clearance, and we complete those processes before goods reach the market. We only display a certification mark once it has been formally issued to us.

How should the oil be stored in my shop or warehouse?

Keep cartons off the ground on pallets, in a cool, dry and well-ventilated space away from direct sunlight and strong-smelling products. Stock should be rotated first-in, first-out using the batch code.

Do you supply private label or custom pack sizes?

Yes, for buyers with sustained volume. We can discuss private label printing and non-standard pack sizes once a baseline order pattern is established.

How do I confirm a batch is genuine RBL stock?

Every bottle carries a batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date. Send us the batch code and we will confirm the refining run, dispatch date and the distributor it was released to.

When can I place my first order?

We are onboarding distributors and trade partners now ahead of our 2026 commercial launch. Early partners are allocated stock and territories first.
