RBL is an edible oil company based in Nairobi's Industrial Area. We import refined sunflower oil from an ISO-certified refinery in Tanzania and sell it in Kenya under our own brand.
We do not own the refinery, and we do not pretend to. What we do own is the specification, the brand and the responsibility for every carton that carries our name.
RBL was established in 2024. Since then we have concentrated on the least glamorous part of this business: making sure the oil in a bottle sold in Kisumu in March is the same oil sold in Mombasa in September. That means a written specification, batch testing, retention samples and a single source of supply.
Our team works out of 10 Rangwe Road, in the heart of Nairobi's Industrial Area — close to the wholesalers, transporters and distribution routes our partners depend on.
Commercial operations begin in 2026. Ahead of that, we are appointing the distributors and trade accounts who will carry the brand into the market.

Wholesalers, supermarkets, hotels and regional distributors are onboarded, and our Industrial Area depot is prepared for stock.
RBL Sunflower Oil goes on sale across Kenya through appointed distributors and direct trade accounts.
We supply a single, consistent grade of refined sunflower oil in the pack sizes the market actually needs, with pricing and delivery terms our partners can plan around. We measure ourselves on repeat orders, not first orders.
By 2030 we want RBL to be the sunflower oil a shopkeeper recommends without being asked, stocked in every major retail channel and used daily in professional kitchens across the country.
We would rather supply fewer partners properly than grow faster than our quality controls allow.
